The Killers set in 2005 was pretty fucking cool, watched that the other day. A band with so few songs that they were playing b sides in a sub slot? I doubt that has happened many times. They were brought back in 07 though and sounds like it didn't go down very well due to sound issues, would love them to get another crack at it in the future.

But if we're allowing dead people, then Jeff Buckley.

Just reminiscing on Lapsleys set last year, when I saw her I didn't appreciate her enough I would love to see her again back in the John Peel tent !! :(

Was watching summat else and hadn't even heard her album at that point so wasn't interested. So I would like Lapsley back, I've since seen the light and heard her lush af album.

Had to also miss Nao last year, which I was grumpy about at the time, and I still am now. ESG, 65daysofstatic, Nick Cave, The Gaslamp Killer have all been clash casualties in the past also. In 2014 I didn't know about Chance The Rapper or Turtle Island but since got well into them both, so need them back.

Mainly though, Beyonce. Get Beyonce back.

Massive Attack 2008

I'm not doubting that the birth of your son was alright and that like, but Massive Attack in 2014 was so fucking good.

Of acts I've seen: Vintage Trouble and Nick Cave.

Of acts I've missed due to clashes: Flaming Lips (to be remedied this year) and Jimmy Cliff.

Of acts who played before I started going: Pulp, Tom Jones, and Polyphonic Spree.

Of acts who've played but are no longer with us: Bowie, Leonard Cohen, and Love with Arthur Lee

Pete Battle was the original drummer.

And he was followed by John "Stumpy" Pepys Battle, until he died in a bizarre gardening accident that the authorities said was "best left unsolved." And then there was Eric "Stumpy Joe" Childs Battle who choked on some vomit, possibly his own but it's impossible to say. I mean, you can't really dust for vomit.  And then they had Peter "James" Bond Battle, who spontaneously combusted on stage at a jazz-blues festival.. or was it blues-jazz? All that was left was a little globule... or stain.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
