Came in here hoping he had been confirmed/linked to play. Thats just ruined my day, love Soundgarden. 

Considering the grunge era was in the 90s, they sure havent bode to well.

Right? If it's someone much older, fairly inactive or battling addiction issues I'm sorta mentally prepared when I click on the thread. Cornell had (I believe) beaten all the drug and drink problems and was touring with Soundgarden and talking up shows with Temple of the Dog and Audioslave. Completely shocking and devastating news.

Couldn't believe it when I saw his face pop up on the news.  Was lucky enough to see Audioslave play the Astoria, and his voice was amazing.  RIP
