Pie Minister haven't been there for years now either.

Okay fair enough. I haven't been since 2014 so I'm guessing a lot has changed. I thought Somerset Live couldn't fuck something simple like this up but I'm obv too nice  Didn't know about the Cheese place or Pie Minister

That Growler guy is an ignoramus

Oh really? How do you know or what has he done?

Never saw the attraction of the Growler I must confess, even with a hangover.

For some reason I never got round to trying the Dorset Blue Cheese Co., god knows how I missed them.  Gutted.

Le Rac Shack is a thing of beauty, but for some reason every year I struggle to find it!

Also never really saw the point of it. Chips in a bun? It's too much stodge and carbs and then cheese on top, it should be nice but I couldn't eat it after a session, always need something a bit lighter. The falaffel guy should still be there near the Pyramid I hope

Okay, but what about the others? Is the Growler man not there? Is he bitter? Where are people going to get their breakfast from!?!?

Plenty more places to get breakfast from, and yes he is bitter. Never had a Growler.....

Hopefully the new food stalls will be good, I am rarely disappointed by my choice.

I am disappointed to be quoted by a shoddy journalist though.

For something light try Dosa Deli in Williams Green, their food is outstanding! :)

I'll tell you what he has done...

For over a decade the Growler man has manged to sell a cheap bit of bread filled with generic chips (previously frozen, probably from battery farmed spuds) melted factory grated 'cheese' (probably wouldn't be allowed to call it cheese if sold in normal retail outlets) and some bacon...using the word 'bacon' very loosely.

Why on earth would anyone choose to eat that when there are so many amazing dishes from around the world available for around the same price?   GFL has done us a favour here.

A bit more on the demise of The Growler.  The comment "market removed and won't relocate" I wonder how many other regular vendors we won't see this year.

"Festival have taken away the market we were in"

Haang on a minute, isn't this new information? The best theory I'd heard was that Saxon Market was being filled with new entertainment (between Other and Pyramid on the other side of Other) and that displaced traders were being moved, kicking out Mr Growler.

But the market where Meal Machine was situated is going? First I've heard of that. How does it fit in with what we've heard about Cloud 9 and Saxon Market? How big an area is going? Have I got the wrong market in mind? Have GFL changed their mind about this new soundsystem?

I have questions!

We need answers!!

Brexit, in sandwich form.

It isn't.

It's in the row of stalls between the Cider Bus and the bandstand.

It's what you have down as no. 13 isn't it? It has melted cheese raclette across the top of the stall, but it's Le Rac Shack in smaller letters beneath, and as Huge says it's opposite the Cider Bus.

Oh, and you need to add garlic and balsamic foccacia to Linda's Loaf. As twee-hipster as it sounds, it's absolutely amazing.

I suspect numbers 8 and 13 on that list are actually the same place.

Battery farmed spuds? Are they all cooped up in a box sprouting all over each other? Fair enough, I thought he'd done something to upset someone or the Eavii. I don't think I'd ever had one but seen a lot of people eating them, but I suppose that's the price of gentrification

The olive bread wins it for me. I've been looking forward to it for almost a year. I had about three over the weekend last year

I imagine that he's in the same situation as quite a few traders round the Glade/Other Stage area who have been moved to make way for Lovebullets HQ. My friends stall on the same run as the Spaceport were offered an alternative pitch, which they accepted. Maybe Growler man was as well, but it wasn't one in quite such a profitable thoroughfare?

Anna Maes is usually next to the acoustic stage and the cheese truck was opposite the hell stage last year. Cheese fanatic here
