Fantastic.

My favourite bands are Oasis, The National, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead. I must be half efestivals nerd, half regular human.

I'm in a similar boat but based on plays they all fall inside my last.fm top 20 all time (since 2005)

Radiohead 1

The National 2

Arctic Monkeys 16

Oasis 20

Based on the last 5 Years however:

The National 1

Radiohead 6

Arctic Monkeys 35

Oasis 52

Makes me feel like I'm improving as an eFestivaler!

eFestivals, the place where Stormzy is the best Glastonbury headliner in the last 10 years due to his massive influence in contemporary culture and Oasis is just a regular band with a couple recognizable songs.

My word I could never have put it better than this. Nail on the head.

You really don't like it when people on here don't like your favourite bands eh

Why, because I find it funny when one of the biggest and most successful bands of all time get criticised? Haha! I'm all for opinions mate. I've hardly got annoyed or angry about the situation.

What else are you basing that on, when I defended Arctic Monkeys when some said they were shit? Sorry for that.

Bro, passive aggressive posts when somebody doesn't like one of your faves is your calling card.

"Shhhh, loving one of the greatest bands of all time isn't cool on here. I bet you throw piss. Can I interest you in The National?"

Passive aggressive? ? It was tongue in cheek/a joke.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
