To anyone who is local or knows the area - if the car park is cut off is there any obvious place to wait outside the venue for those attempting to blag a way in or would you literally be at arms length all day?

not sure about that. I believe I know of a few staff who were given invites and declined for various reasons, and I doubt they're the only ones.

Security up already...pretty sure you won't get near without the right ID etc.

its a huge open area, have a look on google maps, I doubt they would be able to secure the carpark

if driving down and they have the carpark blocked, there is another car park behind M&S which is across the road.

info I had earlier in the week is that they'll announce it during the show. I don't know for sure that's right, tho it sounds logical.

Apologies for poor quality photos. Second pic there is a gazebo with about 3-4 tv cameras on tripods, not sure if these are for gig or for something outside (local news etc)

No way, I work opposite a gig venue and artists only typically arrive a couple of hours before the show.

They've confirmed they're going to do a gig where we expect them to confirm Glasto.

Good to finally see this infamous Cheese and Grain.

Despite all the posts saying it's a 7k venue or whatever, I was still imagining it as a cosy country pub.

quite possible i'd have thought, tho i guess it depends what time they get up. They'll be jet lagged still i reckon.

Although I am not the biggest fan of the foo's,I would probably watch them, clashes permitting, purely because of the effort they have put in.

It shows that headlining Glastonbury means alot to them, more so after missing out in 2015.

Hats off to them, and enjoy tonight, whoever is on these boards and has a invite.
