Just got a confirmation that the Bootleg Beatles are playing! Hopefully in conjunction with their Sgt. Pepper anniversary!

Oooh really? Neil (I think)  heard they weren't doing it at festivals

This would be great news as I'd pretty much given up on this happening.

I gave them a message on facebook and this was their reply, take of it what you will

Top work :D

Hoping for full orchestral Sgt Pepper malarkey. They'll probably play Acoustic again but would love Park or earlyish on Pyramid.

I've caught them six times and they've never disappointed, best time was probably the Royal Albert Hall where they had a string section and choir; considering the technological limitations and poor sound The Beatles suffered throughout their touring period I imagine seeing the Bootlegs is actually a more enjoyable experience

it wasn't the band I got word on, but the band with orchestra doing Peppers. It's not impossible I was told a porkie because that's what he felt he had to do - tho I don't think so - but the source itself on this couldn't be better.

Anyway, it looks like the bootlegs are playing. :)

And on the basis it's not with the orchestra, it's bound to be in acoustic as they're regulars.

looks like there's been some deletion gone on.

Can you tell me what James said...?

Didn't say anything, just liked the tweet.  Think he's done that to a few Glastonbury ones now

the fisherman's friends in to the bootleg beatles last year in the acoustic was exceptional.

on a similar vein I'm hoping the symths will be there again this year, couldn't even get near the tent last year! great singalong outside though :D

Somehow managed to get in the tent for this and it was indeed excellent - was stoked that they got a decent Thursday slot rather than their usual pretty much guaranteed to be missed Sunday morning slot. Hoping they return on the Thursday again this year
