I made this comment off the cuff as a joke yesterday, but I'm thinking about it again this morning;

Neil's info about The xx wanting to play the Park, us having "four" subs, them putting a relatively small act on the Other opposite Ed - is it actually conceivable The xx are headlining The Park on Sunday?

Put it this way, everywhere they show is second or third down Sunday - in the midst of this expected Bazza-Chic-Perry Pyramid party.

Are Phoenix definitely on the Sunday then? If so then aye, looks like they're one for the chop early on.

Nah that'd be a bloodbath. I believe they could very well be a special guest on there one day but there's no way they're playing a billed headline slot (especially as their only set of the weekend).

I was on about Phoenix into Justice third and second down Other.

Phoenix as John Peel headliner already happened last tour so it wouldn't be happening again and they're not the kind of act that plays West Holts by any stretch. So it'd have to be later on the Other or daytime Pyramid really, and I'd be surprised if it wasn't the former.

I raised this point yesterday. Along with The xx's and Emily's comments, I personally wouldn't rule it out just yet.

The problem with that is you'd need another big act opposite Ed as opposed to BBK to make sure there is aenough split across the stages. As it stands The Park would be dangerously rammed.

If The xx were to headline The Park you'd need someone like Green Day on the Other to make the crowds manageable.

Phoenix in to Justice would be ace, but again I just don't see Justice on Other as a goer, although I'm more than willing to believe it if it opens up the possibility of, say, ATCQ being added and headlining WH on the Sunday.

It wouldn't surprise me if The xx headline Other on Saturday. Alt-j could sub and still be against Foos, given the latter's extended set, and then you'd have your three Pyramid subs in poster order of National, Biff, KP.

Yeah The Park would be a nightmare of epic proportions if The XX were to headline. Still can't see past Pyramid sub for them, especially with how much they're pushing this album/tour.

Don't think there is any indication, other than every prediction has them rooted there. A Saturday evening sub slot to Alt-J on the Other - or even third down on there - removes them from the litany of must-see acts on the Pyramid on Sunday (unless of course, The National end up third on the Pyramid on Saturday, in which case I might as well give up on Phoenix.

This would solve all my problems. Or give me that must see Sunday nighter. Last year was clash hell - this year, that closing slot seems to be clash meh about now.

I can see them playing a secret set say third down, when there's someone major on the Pyramid, for instance if K-Pez is third down and there's going to be a fairly major crowd over a mile away from The Park.

For those curious why I seem to care little for Justice, it's more that I haven't heard anything by them, rather than dislike. So if anyone wants to throw me some recommendations, I'll be very grateful.

I've had what I believe to be solid info that they're definitely headlining the Other, on Sunday.

Guys guys guys, the potential metronomy vs justice clash is already headache enough can we not start chucking the xx and ATCQ in there as well.

I've gone to do one of these like five times over and each time I realise the lineup is too stacked and I'm left with a bunch of big acts in spots too low for them. It's also times like these when I realise I don't have a fucking clue so give up half way:
