I went to see Mahavishnu John Mclaughlin and the 4th Dimension last night at the Jazzfest and - while they'd be a good booking in general for the festival - I did come away thinking that they might be more suited to The Glade.  Yer modern jazzer, all hepped up on K-Wash, may find them a little...dated, maybe?

I dunno, it was good and technically amazing, but I dunno if it was particularly close to the cutting edge. Also, it was mostly newer tunes - only really recognised You Know You Know in the encore.

Fans of #Thunderthumb may be intrigued to low that Gary Husband was in the band.

They have Hookworms and Jane Weaver among others supporting on the Manchester leg of their tour. Some bang for yer buck right there.
