ABBA split up decades ago and aren't getting back together to play a festival that doesn't pay very well.

Bjorn Again are the best we're going to get, they seem to play every 10 years, next due in 2019, so not long now.

Bjorn Again aren't even a band, they're a franchise. There's a few of them performing at any one time.

We could probably club together the franchise fee and form one ourselves.

I think the Ratt - ABBA double bill is required.  Some absolute cheese for the rock fans and then some proper music for the grown ups.  Something for everyone.

Bloody loved Dolly, missed Lionel and wasn't blown away by ELO.

Diana Ross or Elton would be great.. even someone like George Michael could be in the running? (Or is he a bit too crap?)

I'd like to see Elton. Diana Ross would be awesome, but Elton would be my personal preference. Tiny Dancer on a Sunday afternoon in the Pyramid field would be all sorts of mega.

One things for sure is that both of them will be touring next year - and if 2018 is a fallow year it's not impossible that the Gibbster might opt to play 2017 in a non-Legend Slot capacity, given how keen he sounds to come back.
