Neil did seem fairly sure for a while... but he seems to think Ed Sheeran is most likely now (along with Foo's). Would have thought if the Roses were at Glasto there might have been some hint since Emily rubbished it.

The info I had about the Roses was picked up at the fest in June, and while well-sourced I was always untrusting of it (as little I ever hear a year early turns out to be true). It was only when the Roses announced other dates for June I thought it was a go-er after all. Emily's since said it's not happening, and I'm not going to be disputing that.

Since then I've been passed some info that it's Ed and the Foos (tho not the days for them), and while there's reasons I've not TBC them from that info, I'm about as certain as I ever get that info is trustworthy and right.

Zero chance. If they play they are a Pyramid headliner and nothing else.

So nothing to confirm that guys info as Foo's on Saturday?, does make sense with the Legends slot time and the day finishing early when you think about it. There would be one less band in most likely anyway.

Tbf to that bloke, he seemed to say early on that the Foo fighters were playing. I also think Saturday makes more sense so I'm going to trust his info

My long time guess was Roses on other while Ed played to the BBC cameras.

Saw the roses headline at T last year when the Beeb cameras were banned. 

I don't think that would happen on the pyramid now although I realise it's happened in the past ( no tv ).

It's incredible that anyone would suggest The Stone Roses as anything other than Pyramid headliners, never mind the hundreds of people we've had suggest it on here over the last few years.

I think the stone roses would be perfect headliners for the pyramid.

Should have happened way before now. Brown is a complicated individual though who doesn't seem to favour his singing being beemed live to the world.

A packed out other up against Ed on the pyramid would be good for folk at the festival. Would be something different, generate loads of publicity and allow the roses to eventually perform that headline slot.....technically :-)

To be fair, do we know it's Ian who is making that call? Maybe the rest of the band who can hear him are more worried than he is.

Off topic but, does anyone know if there is a breakdown somewhere of the capacity of each stage?  I know the Park has a sign that says it's a 10,000 capacity as you enter the area, but can't think of any other stages/areas I've noticed similar signs

I'm not sure you can fit 10,000 people in front of the Park stage. Does that figure mean the entire area including Stonebridge, Rabbit Hole, etc?

He was quite happy having his solo performance on the Other stage played a few years back.

They're pyramid headliners or nothing.

I think it must do, the sign is as you enter the area itself, rather than at the stage

Stone Roses to sub Radiohead, as The Stone Roses are notoriously nervous about performing in front of large crowds and it'll take the pressure off.

Thanks to interweb a secret set is only a secret set until about 30 seconds after it starts or someone spills the beans early on twitter and then the whole festival knows so it's a headache for security and stewards.
