Still can't get any standing ones for the Saturday though. I have been trying all week and they are getting snapped up straight away on Twickets.

Still looking mate? I have one spare if you still need it? Was going for twickets but would prefer it goes to someone on here!

Honestly would prefer I was selling more - I got a ticket in November because my brother (who hasn't seen them) wanted to go and im regretting it now. It won't beat Heaton park and the crowd will be horrible!!

I like a few of their tunes and squire is great but they're one of the most over rated bands in history. One good album in 30 years and the recent single is pure shite. I heard it again on the radio today and I actually cringed. Would they seriously be considered headliner material? Ian voice isn't great these days either.

that one album is some album though (along with a fair few stellar stadalone singles they released as well). it would've been much better if they'd've headlined off the back of their original reunion hype, but aye they could still do it. as many on here have said, Ian doesn't really need to sing well. everybody knows he's shite. the crowd will take care of that part. new single is fucking crap though yeah. if this next one follows in a similar fashion then i think we can write off the chance of any new album being worth the wait

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
