I am 100% in support of this approach, scruffy, even to the degree of awarding extra points for tap-of-the-nose hipsterism.

I am currently struggling with my own rule, as I am drawn inexorably towards wearing my pyramid-shaped Plaid t-shirt on Plaid day. I'm deceiving myself by suggesting that since Plaid are, in fact, playing at 0015h on Monday it's OK!!

There should be no deviation from The Rule! Tut tut!

Well, we've deviated by using grandad T-Shirts, and we're still going to bloody wear them, despite Ben's strict rules.

So there!

Never Kiss a Tory Los Camp tees

Los Camp! t-shirt wearers are the elite. No other band has a fanbase that is even nearly as cool or really really really ridiculously good looking. I think I'll be opting to take my Good Night For A Fistfight t-shirt again this year.

I appreciate I'll get stick for this, but is it acceptable to wear a football shirt if it's bright pink?

I've already accepted not watching any football all weekend, but would it be that wrong to wear one on, say, Thursday?

I am torn.

As a t-shirt obsessive and someone who really isn't fond of football shirts anywhere other than on the pitch, I would have to say a polite, but unequivocal, no.

As someone who spends his entire life striving towards a personal philosophy of libertarianism, I would have to say that it is no-one's business but yours what you wear.

Do you like the shirt? Do you feel happy when you are wearing it? If the answers to these questions is yes, then who cares what pompous self-important arses like me think?

Wear it!*

:)

*obviously I will whisper some obscenity just-inaudibly in your general direction should I walk past you. A leopard never really  changes its spots, after all...

Well, you can't leave out a necessary comma, can you?

Right, I think I've got it down. Mainly based on what fits and is comfortable rather than any fashion sense as I have little.

The Rolling Stones Welly one, Glastallica, The Portishead one that looks like a parking sign with "Pilton" printed underneath (you'd never guess it was a PH T), A nice '07 brown one that I have now "grown into" and a bright yellow "evolution" thing that goes from ape to guitarist which I never wear anywhere else.

I've also got a 25 yo Bowie/Ziggy T from the 1990 Sound & Vision tour which I've never worn and have now "grown into" (ish, still a baggy fit) and thought that may be appropriate. It's a bit/very '70s mind.

And I'll probably buy a couple there. Maybe I haven't finished whitling them down yet.

Cool thread, always a big decision.

Since I've got so many Jack White related tees, i always end up taking some of them. Probably take one of my Third Man Records pocket tee too.

Bought a Brahma Bull "The Rock" tee recently, that's going as is my Dragon Ball Z teeshirt.

Also, need to take my Bluth frozen banana tee shirt and have a picture with it on next to the frozen banana stall on site.
