Legohead 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2017 Long time lurker, first time poster. 2017 will be my 2nd Glastonbury and cannot wait. First time was 2011 the year U2 and QOTSA played. Been reading everyone's posts and bought a tent after recommendations posted here. In total there's about 12 of us travelling over from Ireland. Long time lurker, but trying to get more active on the forums and experience the real glasto spirit. 2017 will be my third Glastonbury, have been there in 2014 and 2015, had to miss out on the 2016 edition and really can not wait until next week! Nelson100 3 Report post Posted June 19, 2017 Hello! I have been lurcking around these forums for about 7 or 8 years (maybe more), used to have a login and very occasionally contributed very unintresting posts. Been to most the big UK festivals, and I am finally doing Glasto this year (2017)! Rejoined becuase I am overly excited about Glasto and I am currently avoiding some work I am meant to be doing. Thanks! Nelson
RustyBee 5 Report post Posted June 26, 2017 Like @deepkittycaz I'm a first timer at the ripe old age of 42. I was was worried about how I'd do, as I'm not good with crowds. So I'm very glad to report that I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Granted I had it on easy mode compared to previous years... but it was just what I needed to get me hooked. Hope to be back in 2019! FestyAcademical 3 Report post Posted October 4, 2017 Hi everyone . Newbie here on the forums , but a veteran of many festivals and events . I've been to Glasto 6 times over the course of 20 odd years as a performer , attendee and event professional. Still my favourite festival ever to work or to visit and one of the few events these days that still gets the butterflies really going . Best moment undoubtedly was seeing Rage Against The Machine in 94 . oh .. if anyone finds the keys for a 1991 Ford Escort opposite the Pyramid stage .....then you're a better man than I was that dark rainy night lol

FestyAcademical 3 Report post Posted October 5, 2017 1 hour ago, Gnomicide said: What have your performances been? With a couple of bands on very minor stages / tents around the early 90's . It was a great experience no question , but sadly nothing that changed music for the better heh.

G it pays for itself if you've got a payment subscription set-up. The easiest way to find out is to let it run and see what happens. (I've recently changed a setting so that it's not possible for anyone to buy it twice, as allowing that caused a few issues).
