Excellent, hopefully he'll make up for the lifeless Paul Simon set a few years ago.

However, I thought he had some sort of throat or voice problem a few years ago that wasn't curable? Glad to see he's still able to perform

Oh sorry - well for an added bonus you got an answer, although not even sure it was a true answer ;-) so ignore it anyway !

And now you're going to say you didn't want an answer to your answer ;-)

His voice has substantially recovered.  Unsurprisingly he doesn't sound quite like a 14 year old choirboy any more, but it's about 75% there.

He was singing seven bells out of the the likes of Kathy's Song, For Emily,  etc.

He'll headline acoustic no doubt. He'd be wasted on Pyramid which is unfortunate. It was quite sad the sheer amount of people who were piling out of George Ezra when Bacharach was on next. Could walk right to the front easy.

Acoustic will be packed out no doubt though... Art Garfunkel is a legend.

ART FOR THE PYRAMID! The Beeb can use slow motion footage of me sobbing uncontrollably to For Emily in their highlights montage.

Oh, and as LCD have not technically been confirmed yet, this is the first confirmation I'm properly made up with (leaving Queen Bey out on a technicality as she's a guest slot).

ah fuck, after my embarrassing tearful gin soaked weep to Burt Bacharach last year, this has got disaster written all over. It's taken best part of a year to regain any dignity with my family/friends. Guess i can kiss that goodbye

as much as i think he will be, i really hope he isn't headlining Acoustic and is midday on one of the bigger stages instead - probably the only opportunity i'll get to see Simon & Garfunkel tunes performed by one of the two (without paying out of my arse for it). wherever he plays it's sure to be a special set

Yeah don't think i would make headlining acoustic. Prefer an afternoon sob.

I gotta' say, I'm far more excited about this legend at Glastonbury than I am ELO!

Same as it ever was, the true Sunday legend is not in the Sunday legends' slot. 13 was all about Bobby Womack and not Kenny Rogers, 14 was Yoko and not Dolly, last year was Patti and not Lionel.

This year is about ZZ Top rather than ELO.

My dad's latest reason for trying to disown me: I've never heard of ZZ Top.
