Radiohead touring in 2016

Amnesiac is a funny one. A companion piece to Kid A, it's not Kid A Part 2, and it's not Kid A outtakes either. It is, in all honesty not as good as Kid A as a whole, but has some utterly brilliant tracks on it, notably Pyramid Song. Arguably the sonic experimentation that elevated Kid A so much actually gets in the way on this record.

It does seem to be the most 'grower'record of the lot. 3 or 4 years ago it was appearing at the bottom of these lists, just above Pablo Honey. It might be because we were going into the record expecting it to be something it's not.

If I had to choose, I'd say HTTT next.

aye....hail to the thief was supposed to be a "back to rock" type album, but it isnt like that at all. In rainbows is probably the album closest to ok computer I suppose. King of limbs is a complete departure.

I dont think anyone knows what style the new one will be (a bigger nerd than me might correct me on this though)

Miles better than Hail to the Thief. Dollars and Cents rarely gets the recognition, such a good song live too, I don't know why they seem to overlook it so much

Mardy, i'd say the nest step for you should be Hail to the Thief, I've always considered it 2nd fiddle to Kid A but recently I've discovered what a strong album it is, there some fantastic groves in some of the songs

I think it would fit into your pallet, its experimental, not as much as Kid A but still something different

It's funnny as last time I was on the radiohead forum (before In Rainbows and maybe even HTTT) if Kid A or Amnesiac weren't your top 2 albums you were ridiculed. On here more are into the bends / OKC ( and In rainbows and even HTTT).

I reckon if you were to average all radiohead songs (via a calculator or do it in excel) it would come out as I Might Be Wrong.

Fun fact: Guitar in Reckoner is Thom's way of homage to John Frusciante from RHCP. He saw several RHCP concerts and liked his sound so tried to make his own version of that.

To be honest it would be a lot lower than number 10 if you take into consideration the bonus disc.
