Get up early, have a great big breakfast at the local caf, Take the cat to cat-jail for the week, takethe gates off the hinges so I can release the caravan, then struggling to get the gates back on before waiting for everyone else to finish work so we can hit the road!

Just in time for london rush hour traffic......

Since the weather will be glorious I will be nearly at glastonbury town to have a look around the shops and a walk up the Tor. Got there about 6 last year and the shops were closing but want a proper look around. If the rain gods decide to have 1 last day of rain on the Tuesday I will probably be sat at home with twitchy feet waiting to get on the road

I'll have packed the camper and be ready to leave when Mrs psychology finishes work at 1pm. Then all she has to do is make sure she has her clothes and toiletries and away we go hopefully to be on site around 5-6pm. However, even though I pack everything including food and booze. she always seems to forget something!

Then it's the traditional Tuesday night CV east barbecue.

at this time will be having breakfast in my crew canteen and then a bit of work and then standing inside next to gate D waiting for it to open - this shot was taken at 7.30 Wednesday - main gate is still closed
most people in this shot ' have just started their shift ' as they had swapped over shifts just before that - if you look close - inside the tent - there is a briefing going on.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
