Pyramid dress going for keeps according to Emily. Seems quite early that?

I think it’s usually a bit earlier after a fallow year maybe to check things over. This period has essentially been a double fallow.

Lovely image, and an accompanying atmospheric soundtrack of bird song including, I think, blue tits and a territorial robin warning others of its patch.

Don’t forget the beautiful smell of the shite spreader working just out of view there. Was delightful

I was trying to evoke the charms of the idyllic rural Somerset countryside describing its sounds and visual beauty.  The smell of shite somewhat spoils this image😊

So is that for some construction in the woods area, where there’s been a lot of clearing being done? When we were down visiting in January there was work being done there. Lovely to see your pics, keep em coming!  Is it cold down Somerset way? Just been for a brisk walk here, my  running days are over, and it’s bloody freezing and showers of sleet

No this wood pile is there every year. It’s used between stalls to block off the side access etc

the new spike stage is being constructed. The bar area  has already been done.

we didn’t get a frost but it got cold. Short hail storm today that lasted 5 mins. Otherwise blue skies and sunshine with a brisk breeze. Still in my shorts mind. Has to go below -5 before long trousers go on.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
