Doh!

It working, you were too early!
Picture is taken every 10 mins but doesn't normally hit the web for another 60 seconds.

My guess is they'll be artists from BBC introducing lineups that they have connections to. Maybe similar to their big weekend lineup

Unlikely there will be any "A grade" artist there.

Called it. Arlo Parks doing an acoustic set.

Also have just noticed on the information about the 3 shows on BBC Two at 8pm, they all say about live acoustic sets, so it si most probably that those 3 shows are coming live from the farm.

BBC Two - Friday
"Jo Whiley and Mark Radcliffe celebrate the weekend that would have marked 50 years of the Glastonbury Festival with an inviting blend of great performances from the archives and live acoustic sets from contemporary artists."

BBC Two - Saturday
"Clara Amfo and Lauren Laverne present a jam-packed show celebrating Glastonbury Festival on the weekend that would have marked its 50th year. Tune in for highlights from the festival’s musical vaults, a special live acoustic performance from a contemporary artist and a reminder of one of the unique performances that have happened in the BBC’s Glastonbury studio over the years."

BBC Two - Sunday
"Clara Amfo and Lauren Laverne present a musical journey celebrating the weekend that would have marked 50 years of the Glastonbury Festival with an inviting blend of great performances from the archives and the odd live acoustic set from contemporary artists dropping in."

Boom! ;)

Past lineup posters all laid out at the Tithe Barn.

£5 entry!!

Last year when we visited the Tithe Barn early in the week, all the Park Stage decorations were being stored inside......

Friend I normally attend with lives nearby and overflew the site on Thursday and took the attached pics which show it in a bit more detail.

Plus the sunset Tor one is just beautiful.

Nuce pics thanks.  Trying to figure what the small white units are circled around the larger white marquee?

I'm presuming there's some sort of fence keeping the cows away from the TV Set? Can't really make one out on the webcam.

Disgraceful. The fuzz have kettled the cows who are only exercising their bovine rights to walk around their own land. Free the Pilton herd.

I'm thinking the small white units must be the sleeping quarters for the crew and the white marquee is probably where they eat and take their breaks?

Put these pictures on the favourite Glastonbury images thread as a record of this historic infamous year !

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
