i reckon its just a prop for the background of the tv 'studio', the pyramid shell will be framed with the airstream and tipi at either side

Yeah more than likely it's a prop, they had one in the background for quite a bit of last years coverage

Inhteresting...who do we reckon has a silver caravan?

I seem to remember the BBC having some sort of space-age-looking-silver-caravan-type-thingy in their back stage area behind bbc introducing in silver Hayes. I might be remembering wrong but I think some of the BBC’s glasto interviews were done there last year.

There it is!

Are they getting ready for a live link at 10pm before Julien Temple's Glastonbury on BBC Four?

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god .... it's a cloud, run for your life.

Looks like bloody Amazing festival weather down on the farm today.

Hope that airstream Jo Wiley's got is air conditioned.

That’s where we all cheer ... still bloody warm in Somerset today :)

Looks like they have, closer than I have ever got to the front of Pyramid!

Could be they're part of the backdrop for later.  There was a big blue tarpaulin covering something to left of Pymild yesterday which has now been uncovered.  It's possibly a big pile of sileage to keep them from wandering off.

It's hay bales (not the round ones) that are covered, they have them in the tipis presumably to sit on.

    • Is anyone selling a medium camper van parking spot - I would love to buy it off you!   Bought our tickets a while ago and have since found out gf is pregnant and will be 7 months by festival! Luckily family have just bought a camper van we can borrow so we can still come along but… the medium parking spots have sold out 😞
    • Sure enough I did finish the Brosnan Bonds. Goldeneye is good but I think might be overrated by some Bond mega-fans, The World Is Not Enough is ok but nothing more than that and Die Another Day is just wild. I didn't hate Die Another Day like some have but its basically a wacky sci-fi film with Bond movie clothes.
    • Monaco comes across to me as something that's great for just watching people driving around, especially this year as it feels like this is a track where they can actually push compared to other circuits where superclipping ruins it, but where the cars seem to have outgrown it.   Though tbf Formula E has had decent Monaco races recently so maybe its a sign of car development philosophy being a factor.
    • Feel like a lot of people do just sit around by the stage at a festival waiting for one act anyway, no? I know Swift has a big mega-fandom - she wouldn't have done so many Wembley shows last year if she didn't - but it's not like she'd be unique in playing a festival and drawing a crowd on that specific day just for her.   But then tbf I feel like there'd be a few happy just to mosy around the rest of the site until maybe 2/3 acts beforehand.
