but if you look back to this time in the last build there was no skin at all on it .... its all going to be fine

It looks nice and green now.  This has been enough to help the grass grow and prevents the festival from turning into a budbath.

As a matter of interest the windscreen wipers of the cars you can see looking at the Glastonbury town market square live webcam are no longer operating though the place looks pretty wet.

Could be the worse of the rain gone now for sometime. That was worst its been all week and only lasted about an hour!

As another matter of interest the live glastonbury tor webcam operated by the glastonbury spring water company shows the tor clear and a few people cavorting about on the top.

Ugh, really not enjoying the weather on site today. I recall that today is currently forecast to be the worst day for weather until (and including) the festival, though. A couple of days sun and all will be well.

That's pretty much every day on that stretch of the M5, hell on earth.

Pretty much.  There's a few days on most forecasts that look pretty damn wet but nothing major over the festival itself.  As long as there's a few dry and warm days prior (which it looks like there will be) to the gates opening, we should be good.
