What's all open on the Wednesday night?

Any good recommendations?

Was there last year but didn't find too much open, apart from the park silent disco and some of block 9 which had huge queues

All the bars are open. Think stuff happens in the SE corner. 100% of the times I've been I've said I'll not get too drunk on the Weds and 100% of the time I've been too excited and plastered by 7pm.

Wednesday is the eFests meet as well, let's not forget!

I'm going to treat it as an exploration day, and spend lots of time in the Green fields. I too got wrecked last year and that was a poor decision.

I'd say try and hold off SE corner so you can see it in its full glory on the Thursday/Friday.

Loads of stuff goes off in Greenfields. Theres a small bandstand up there that has acts on. Also theres usually a group of people singing and playing a variety of instruments up in the stone circle as the sun goes down followed by burning of the big wooden bird then fireworks!

Last two years I felt the stone circle was really overcrowded. The park hill is much more accesible. Anyway, we had great time in the rocket lounge: rockabilly, soul, jazz music and a great vibe from a lot of people just headin to shangri-la...I'd reccomend the rocket lounge

Haha, yep! We usually head down there on a Wednesday afternoon but it always results in about half of the group needing to go to bed by about 7pm.

I love to have a wander about the greenfields and usually end up in the Park area late on. All the bars up there are usually open.

I normally start drinking on the train so by 7ish I'm hammered & am knackered from just the effort of getting to Glastonbury.

I haven't done an evening up at The Park yet, might give it a go this year.

Never make plans on Wednesday night. Just wander around, sit and drink for a bit, wander somewhere else, drink some more and continue until you pass out. It's more fun that way.

Last couple of times I've gone to the silent disco in the Park but I hope I don't this year. Every time I go in it's terrible but it always seems like a good idea.

We did that one year with our group and someone said we looked like a 'pride of lions' all laid out in a ring.

Peaked a little too early last year and ended up napping for an hour or two. Spent too long waiting for the ceremony at the Stone Cicle too. Might try and wander about more this year, start a bar crawl a little later on.
