Why would they book Blur instead of Florence?

If they're all about variety and experimentation - as they have repeatedly implied - surely they would want to give Florence a chance to step up and headline for the first time rather than get Blur to basically repeat 2009 again? (I doubt a huge number of people will be bothered by their new songs)

Delay announcing Blur as the BST has not yet sold out. In fact, they are offering instalments on payments.

Delay Noel Gallagher as Clapham Calling is the following weekend and not yet sold out. I think he is worthy of headlining Sunday. Or, him followed by Stone Roses. That would be perfect.
