It's not just the venue though, it's the price that's the main issue. 80 quid (plus fees) for Blur and what has to be said is a pretty poor undercard for the price isn't winning many over.

Plus the fact the sound is rubbish and people are going to one gig there and vowing not return, especially at 80£!!

I wanted to see one Pyramid headliner this year. Just one. The other 2 Im not going to (though I might watch a bit of kanye out of curiosity)

Id given up on the sunday one. I feared a florence or swift headliner. Now, that doesn't look likely, so Im hopeful again.

Madonna would be worth a watch

Blur would be good

Bowie would be better

McCartney has the hits

Stone Roses, seen them and would again.

Fleetwood Mac - bottom of my list of these possibles, but would probably go and see them.

Can't think of anyone else possible.

Good news nand thanks to neil for the work put in!

Why would they book Blur instead of Florence?

If they're all about variety and experimentation - as they have repeatedly implied - surely they would want to give Florence a chance to step up and headline for the first time rather than get Blur to basically repeat 2009 again? (I doubt a huge number of people will be bothered by their new songs)

They will be, Them Bros and Kanye aren't going to clash. Holds hands up if wrong but I doubt it will be.

Balls. If it's Blur or FM in screwed as the wife loves both and a more than the chemical brothers. We are in a group so could always split. In my head Chems clashing with Kanye made perfect sense! I would have thought he would have never heard of them so wouldn't mind/know any different.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
