Resale. How many?

Do we ever find out how many tickets go back into the resale? Seem to recall being told it's usually about 10K max and wondered if the whole misplaced vitriol about Kanye West was likely to have any effect.

No, and it'll be more than 10k. Even if only 1 in 10 handed back (and its almost certainly higher from what im reading on social media) there would be 13,500

We'll never find out but i reckon 20k. They will still go in 5-10 mins

I always think it's more than they let on. There's been at least three "secret" resales the past three years. I knife because in the May I was able to get in one lunchtime and but another six tickets. I reckon there's a good amount and they get staggered.

10k seems far too low for a deposit based scheme that is paid almost 9 months before the event.

Not when you lose thirty percent of the deposit.

As a percentage it's high, but it's only £15. I feel it's unlikely that less than 1 in 10 people would have a change in cirumstance that meant they couldn't attend.

I managed fairly easily in the resale last year after not getting a sniff in the previous october. If you are prepared to try in the coach sale as well i'd say the chances are high you'll get through, especially as the line up wasn't released and the Kanye factor

3 of my group of 6 haven't paid, and I haven't heard from a 4th. I think people underestimate the amount of people who think "Yeah I fancy Glasto next year and I've only gotta stick £50 down, why not?" only for the balance payments to come round and they can't afford it/can't be bothered anymore.

I'm usually content before any of the music even starts. Its worth it just for Wednesday and Thursday.

I don't think I'll ever stop being astonished at how many people think of a festival in such narrow, defined terms. For them it must truly only be a music concert. Just outdoors...
