I've been using this forum for years but my consumption tends to ramp up around t-day and then after the new year as I start to count down the days.

Rarely log-in from July to October as I can't face the fact the next festival is so far away.

Should post more often as there's some damn good people on here.....and Russy;-)

I come here all year round, but I find the opinions of some of the regulars informative and have discovered plenty of new music from reading recommendations here. More to read about than just who is going to be performing or where it's best to camp.

While I was at uni I was on here far too much to the point where I think I spent more time on here than I spent doing uni work (luckily I didn't fail!).

Now I'm a graduate with a real world marketing job, I don't feel so inclined to spend my free time on social forums. My job includes too much social media as it is haha.

I reckon come May/June I'll be here a lot more because none of my friends go so I need someone to get excited about Glastonbury with!

There's no such thing as "a real world marketing job". :P

There's nothing real about marketing, marketing is all about inventing bullshit.

Real world as in, no longer a student living a lazy life. Not 'real marketing job'.

And anyway, I do the marketing for a Hospice to help them raise millions a year - if that's bullshit then so be it.

I come here every day because it helps me feel connected to the Glasto part of my life, and because the forum's full of great people, even if we do get a little stir crazy when there's no bones to chew on from the line-up office!

Last year was a toughie for me, but eFests helped me get through it and saw me to my first Glastonbury. I was able to score tickets for a few here, and this year an eFester got me my ticket as well. Great forum, great people, great festival.

Our house in a No Smoking house. I smoke, so I have a 'posh shed' in the garden where I mark and prepare work and smoke.

My appearances here coincide with my fag breaks.

No WiFi?

Edit, note to self, read posts twice before replying....

I come on here far to often for someone my age ;) , in fact as the person in charge of my workplace I should know better than coming on here but we do have our lax periods :) Perhaps too many.

I have not been able to face coming on here having not got a ticket for the first time in a very long time. As we get nearer resale day I find I am attracted to here again. Life is pain - or will be until I get lucky in the resale. ;)

Like Couchy, at 33 I'm one of the few people left in my social group that still bases each summer around festivals rather than buying houses or having kids, so i need to come on here to get my fill of such chat because I can't get it from my friends!

That said I'm relying on the re-sales for Glastonbury this year, so coming on here doesn't fill me with anticpation at the moment it fills me with dread that i might fail in April! :(

I come on here in dribs and drabs, more so as the festival approaches, or in less busy periods of my life

I don't understand the 'growing out' of festivals comment (lol), Sure some peoples priorities change but is that anything to do with growing up or just life changing

I am grown up (sometimes), I own a house, have no children but my summers are still full of music. Sure if I had children then my priorities would change but my love of festivals runs so deep that i hope I would maybe adjust the festivals I attended or the number or something

And yeah same as others minimal friends have the same obsession so here fuels the nattering about festivals part of me and stops me boring my buddies
