Been following this thread as always at this time of year and from reading it assumed it was going to be a right weather mix up but is it really going to be ok!? Was not expecting to be feeling this optimistic...

Bond Street coffee and Taylor Street baristas, also marwood Cafe is also great!

Thank you.

Currently sat in JB's American diner having breakfast on my own. Rest of the stag do asleep!

Always have to be up doing something otherwise I get bored.

Not for Pilton - doesn't show rain until Monday

Yep you're right. No change from their forecast yesterday.

Edit: now they've got it wet on Sunday again. Guessing I reckon!

I try to ignore checking the weather but as always I get sucked in and will be watching Countryfile tomorrow.

If they say its gona be scorchio i'll still take wellys and if they say its gona be a monsoon i'll still take factor 30

Currently nursing a hangover after getting incredibly drunk at the pub last night, realising I'm not in good enough drinking shape for Glastonbury. This thread however, is providing some comfort.

For some reason absinthe seemed like a good idea last night.

Not drinking from now until the festival.

The tabloid/media spin on the weather is just amazing. I saw one with a headline about Glastonbury and Wimbledon being a complete washout and a sub headline basically saying it was going to rain for 10 days straight. In the actual article there was a quote from a weather expert simply saying the next 10 days could be unsettled. Then I read another local news piece suggesting Glastonbury would have perfect weather, their take on perfect being that we would get a mix of weather. Basically you just have to ignore everything you read.

That's good Jeffie. If there was a Venn diagram of nfrnfc and the weather thread, big dog would be in the overlap bit farting and eating treats and doing weather analysis.

To be fair he's not mine to share, but I'm sure the owners won't mind.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
