Nah, there are more bands to come. The secret set isn't for sure though.

Have read previously that many have used Gumtree to source last minute cheap tickets for Reading. What is everyone's experience of the site? Any idea of the safeguards? Few have appeared online already but unsure if they're genuine.

i only ever use gumtree if i can meet them in person for the ticket.

Quick question. My friend bought her ticket and is no longer coming to the festival. Can another friend but it off her and take her ID as proof (since the names are different) or is this not possible?

Even if it's 'checked', R+L don't have any problem with different names on tickets (as far as I know) as they allow and even encourage ticket resales. so there's nothing to worry about.

Haim have just posted on twitter that they have pulled out of Reading and Leeds. Pretty bad news. Really hope they can pull something out the bag as a replacement.

Historically they've been pretty shite at replacing acts that pull out. Wouldn't be surprised if someone's added at/near the start of the day and the other acts are shifted up a place.

I dunno. We have no idea what deadlines and shit they need to work to for the record company and the schedules of staff involved and leasing the studios and all that bullshit.

Rest of the line up should be forthcoming in the next week or so shouldn't it? I don't think they've announced in August before. I suppose it'll just be the smaller stages but I'm interested to see how the stages are filled out and how prospective clashes look; it's a big player in my thoughts on a day ticket.

pretty good to be fair, will prob watch as my Friday is looking a bit grim at the moment.A few I'll prob check out but so far I've only got Thrice that I definately want to see.

On the subject of Thrice, their new album is amazing.

Personally,I can't believe Thrice are not huge.Really underrated

I'm really looking forward to them this year, now they play all of the classics again. Saw them on the Main Stage in 2010 and it was the most boring set I've ever seen. Totally disinterested and the setlist was beyond poor. The only downer on the best day of music I've ever attended.
