Great speech, hit the nail on the head with a lot of his words. Especially liked his desire to play Glastonbury but thought they would never get asked, I know every artist doesn't think like that but they should.

God I love Eavis. He simply does not give a shit. Just look at him. What an utter legend!

Lars' speech was great too.

I also saw a nice quote from Lily Allen. I know there's lots of people on these boards who hate her (for reasons I don't fully understand) but this is spot on:

nice speech. Bit cringey and OTT but he is american (is he?) so I suppose we can make allowances.

The video before their set remains the single most appalling thing I've ever witnessed on the pyramid stage though - and I saw Embrace in 2000.
