Yeah this lineup looks like it's gonna be stellar electronic music wise

As always... I'm just hoping we get a big one coming along to the farm (Villalobos)

he seems to be doing a lot of UK festivals this year so i'm just praying :(

Agree with the above but mostly I'm going to #prayformoodymann

I have previously forwarded my wishes for Moodymann in this thread, shortly after he was announced for Parklife I believe. I'm all with you there Tuna

MCDE, Moodymann, Jeremy Underground, Hunee, DJ Koze, Shanti Celeste, Derrick Carter, Pender Street Steppers, Tom Trago, Jackmaster

The kids wants fucking disco

Just saw that its NYCDL & Bloc9s 10th birthday this year. Wonder if it will be just the regulars this year in NYC or they will pull something special from the bag like DJ Harvey, Baldelli etc

Harvey is the GOAT, not too optimistic but he seems made for the place

Think we're gonna have a good conversion rate on that list, and I'm fucking ecstatic. And to add to that the already confirmed (and hugely underrated) Dan Shake in the Downlow already. Taps aff.

By a good conversion rate I assume that's basically all except for motor city and moodymann? I'll be dreaming until the lineup comes but I doubt it

Hunee, Jack and PSS (+ Palms Trax) I'm quietly confident of

I see the Coachella live stream is streaming the Yuma tent for the first time this year.

hoping for more Ben UFO, FloPo/Four Tet/Daphni, Dixon, Belleville Three, Dettmann, and less Tale of Us, Solomun, Hot Since 82....

e: no Yuma tent acts on the youtube stream schedule, despite the press release saying that they'd be streaming from there

Richie Hawtin, Moderat, Royksopp, Tycho, Bonobo, Dj Shadow and Justice are mongst those being broadcast.

Interested to see DJ Shadow as he's high on my must see list

When I saw him at Bestival in 2011, I left after about half an hour, just wasn't working for me, he played a lot of weird D'n'B and Dubstep, and no Endtroducing era stuff, I think he basically plays all of the stuff I would want to hear at the end of his sets but I just wasn't in the right mood to stick around and find out.

    • Reading all the feedback with interest.  If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage.  With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed.  Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long".  In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
    • Has Glastonbury already got council permission for that 5 year run?
    • This keeps being mentionned but it only happened because Dua's Europe Tour was rescheduled due to Covid. Dua's arena show was initially planned for October 2021 but got rescheduled to May 2022 a month after the PS2022 lineup was announced.   I hope Massive Attack and Doja get to come back. I guess it'll depend whether they have a summer tour planned next year.
    • Solo album on the way for the singer of a certain band.  Il leave the name of the act out and see if anyone listening can guess....  its er rather obvious lol
