Amy Lawn
Silent Disco as well, is there Crow's Nest stuff? I'm sure loads will disagree, but I'm not really a fan of the Park's late night stuff.
ian the worm
And HMS Sweet Charity Bar, hammocks, ribbon tower, food stalls, Lands End Bar, fucking big sign. Arcadia one way, Healing Fields the other way.
FloorFiller
aye i usually just head straight for the SE corner (as most do) but the Park is definitely somewhere i intend to hang out at more at night this year. seems to be fairly popular on these boards
Tuna
Don't really rate the Park after dark but Stonebridge during the day is usually really nice
st dan
I just associate after dark at The Park with the ridiculous queue for the silent disco.
Brave Sir Robin
I just associate after dark at The Park with the ridiculous queue for the silent disco. That and the queue for the 'secret' bit of the rabbit hole! Still like it around there though, a few different options close to each other, truly feels like a fest within a fest. LondonTom
Not sure where it was, but on the thursday last year there a decent tent (might have just been a bar/food stall) on the main path up to the Park stage/Ribbon Tower...on the right hand side, that was quite cool! Had all fairly lights/disco lights inside and decent music playing (I think! I can't really remember it that well but I know I enjoyed it )
willsnewman
Cheers, ears ben Ben, I'm incredibly sad to inform you that Nils will not be at Glastonbury. I was devastated when he said... But he was absolutely incredible this evening. I suppose that only rubs salt... That in the Glade or on the Park would be unbelievable. Hopefully next year. Thanks so much for finding out, Will, and I'm really glad the show you saw was so good. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to console with the already unmanageable number of acts I already want to see...and we haven't even had the 'proper' announcement! Bradders
I usually go to Stonebridge at least one night over the weekend as they get some good stuff in, Jagwar Ma played live there at about 3am in 2013! There's something about the tent I don't like though, maybe the pillars and the bar being in the way, feels a bit small and not in a cosy way. Might be better if the stage and bar swapped places so there wasn't a pillar smack bang in front of the stage. Tuna
I think West Holts may have just pipped the Park this year, but both are so very strong. What a time to be alive, etc.
ghandi
The Park Friday night is epic , Wolf Alice, Sharon Van Etton, Dinner ( ) and then SFA..... sorry Jamie XX

FloorFiller
Parks lineup isn't quite as good as previous years for me, but I could still happily spend all day every day there
Winslow Leach
I'd say West Holts is stronger this year, thereby continuing to validate the Park/West Holts alternation theory.
FuzzyDunlop
The Park looks stronger to me. There is a lot I want to see
Winslow Leach
Nah. The theory is one is shite and one is great. Neither are shite this year. Personally I think the park is better but west holts still very strong. The dogshit this year is the other. The Other is w*nk theory works too. rjb94
Weird one this year. Strong line-up but could well not end up seeing anyone there due to clashes elsewhere

Lots of good stuff, West Holts slightly on top with the Headliners though
Winslow Leach
It's unbelievably w*nk this year. I've seen some belting sets there. Portishead, massive attack, stranglers, eels, pIl, beady eye. But this year it looks terrible. One of my belting sets listed above is a lie. Why anyone thought it was a good idea to stick Young Fathers and Future Islands among all that bilge is beyond me. FuzzyDunlop
The other has Future Islands, Jungle and Belle + Sebastian. Otherwise I'm not interested
The 38 year old virgin
Friday night at the park is seriously strong.
