Finally the Counting Crows! ☺

So who is going to be the Barn headliner, Florence or Elbow? Gonna be hard one on Thursday.

Sunday looks... weird, at least for now.

There's a third option: Elbow-FatM-Rock & Grohl. Would hate that because that would mean Rise Against would be Barn headliners and I'd miss them while jumping to the Foo's.

Anyway, Elbow are decent, Counting Crows are great. Heard Die Antwoord can deliver really good tune, but let's wait till the timetable with the decisions.

Friday becomes shitier by the week. I don't know what are they thinking. Out of 12 bands there's only ONE I'd really like to see - Death Cab for Cutie. Others - I couldn't care less.

WHERE THE FUCK ARE BLUR ???????

Rise Against were an afternoon act main stage act during their previous performances, I'm assuming they'll be the same this time no matter what the main stage lineup is. My bet is that it'll be your idea though, with Elbow - FatM - Foo Fighters. Unless there's a major overlap with Foos, Elbow in the Barn would cause quite a rush and dangerous situations.

And I figure that Blur won't be announcing any other dates before the BST show has sold out.

Yeah but the Chemical bros are closing the main stage. That will mean that Elbow will go down a spot from their 2012 spot after they score a number one album which doesn't make much sense..

And somebody gotta be Barn headliner ☺

This will be my first RW so what's difference between main and barn. Is barn a big indoor stage ?

Main stage: big open air stage

Barn: tent with a 15.000 people capacity

KluB C: tent with a 10.000 people capacity

Something else that draws my attention: the lack of ticket information. The last time they mentioned something about tickets was when they informed us about Thursday selling out (over a month ago). Since then nothing, not even a 'tickets are going fast' kind of line.

Hoping that means it's not going to sell put that fast so that the lineup has to keep getting stronger and more chance of say blur being announced. By this time last year, Thursday, Saturday and combis were sold out. I think Sunday may have been gone as well so hoping big names keep coming especially as I only want to see alt j on Friday.

What do you think the chances of Jamie T and all time low? And any idea where hot chip will play?

Thats just the point which raises my hopes for a bigger name for friday! :)

I hope it means they don't sell well. We all saw what happened when they sold out quickly last year.

Hot Chip: Klub C Sub or Third down. First one would mean your clash with FooFighters.

Thank you! Always so difficult to tell because I'm used to the popularity of bands at UK festivals but no idea when it comes to Belgium. Hoping they'll be on at the same time as Florence, would be the best possible outcome for me to see Rise Against, Hot Chip, Foo Fighters and the chemical brothers to finish the night. Would be fantastic

Not many bands I've heard of (yes the old farts is back) obviously elbow, but who like falling asleep to music. And hot chip, but as soon as I liked them I went off them through hearing are you ready, are you ready, over and over. Looks like I've got some research do do tomorrow on tuther bands then.

As the tickets are selling slower, hopefully it will return to the usual weekend next year.

Any guys from Belgium know if the date is a one off or a permanent fixture?

It's a one off, the only reason for moving was not missing out on Foo Fighters, considering the lineup/ticket sales would be worse without them. At first we thought it might stay that way if sharing the date with Glasto would turn out great for the lineup. But viewing as the ticket sales aren't going superb...

On the other hand the question is whether it's because of the changed date or because of the lineup. After all it took off great (1/3 of the total tickets sold in the first week) thanks to a promising start of the lineup. But Friday turns out to be piss poor so far, Noel Gallagher - Lenny Kravitz - The Prodigy is one of the weaker toppings they've had there, and until the end of January Muse was the only confirmed name for Sunday. So they kinda ruined it for theirselves, and they're not exactly improving it by adding popular names to the already sold out day.
