There's a new lineup poster on the homepage of the website. Interesting to see is that Pharrell is not in the biggest font, but a size equal to the dance acts and subs. On the other hand, Lenny Kravitz is the same size as Foo Fighters and Muse...

It means maybe that they're gonna add a big name for Friday in the next hours !

Tomorrow first names for Cactus Festival + some more Les Ardentes artists, so probably another row of contenders we can cross out.

Last year that festival had very good names like the Afghan Whigs, Connor Oberst, Massive Attack, Mark lanegan Band, M. Ward and more. I hope this year it wont be so successful...

Tomorrow eve Open'er festival will have announcement too.

Tomorrow afternoon logically ;)

Yeah, just saw that they announced a bunch of names on the 14th last year.

On the same day they also announced tickets sales and then sold out of combi tickets 4 days later.

I expect roughly the same timescale for sell out this year, especially if another big act is confirmed for Friday.

No real big shots for Les Ardentes and Cactus Festival, only Thurston Moore and Anna Calvi are worth mentioning. Both have dEUS headlining, looks like they'll be doing a lot of festivals.

Edit: dEUS also announced for Lokerse Feesten, unless RW announce them today I don't see them happening.

Don't know dEUS so that's good for me. Django Django, Modest Mouse and Of Monsters & Men all announced for open'er the week after. Think they all had dates fairly near anyway but thought I'd mention them as they're all very likely I'd say.

Does anyone know the likelihood or how big Jamie T is to play? Would he play rock werchter?

Does anybody can see one realistic sub/headliner other then M&S and Coldplay? I mean many of the big June/July festival still misses few big Names and headliners and we only can guess whether its a struggle or a waiting game for some acts. I do think thats something holding festival back. I look at the US Firefly festival (19-21.6) which was supposed to release its full lineup more then 2 weeks ago and that didnt happen yet.

But on the other hand, In terms of big names, RW has the most of them (for the general public) so it doesn't necessarily HAVE to sign more of those (the job they're doing with the Saturday lineup reminds me the KoL day last year).

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
