I really hope there's some more rock to be announced because I don't really like any of the acts on Friday... And I hope some bigger acts across the weekend as I don't think there's enough. Hope to get some surprises throughout the coming weeks or I'll be quite disappointed.

This Friday is the worst Friday in last 3 years I've been to. I'm gonna travel around Brussels and eat some mussels on Friday I guess. I'd come to watch Ben Howard at evening that's all.

If there is Damien Marley on a stage, they have to keep a logical order. That's why we have to expect festive bands such as Die Antwoord, Gogol Bordello ?(WHAT A FUCKIN SHOW), Knife Party ? Imagine Dragons ?

Hope they'd rather put all the shitty bands on Friday so people can travel around Belgium with clear minds.

Was just discussing that, hoping either it's total rubbish on Friday and not a couple of good bands announced because I'd rather just go around leuven or Brussels and get some nice food/explore than be dragged there for 1 or 2 bands spread across the whole day.

My quite non-optimistic guess: Very weak for RW, but the last "small" announcements ... What do you think?

KlubC: Caribou/??/Jungle

Friday

Main: Pharrell Williams/Ben Howard/Alt-J/Of Monsters And Men/Balthazar

Barn: Death Cab For Cutie/??/Damian Marley/Gavin James

KlubC: Roisin Murphy/FKA Twigs

Saturday

Main: The Prodigy/Lenny Kravitz/Noel Gallagher's HFB/Sam Smith/Hozier/Royal Blood

Barn: Damien Rice/??/Angus&Julia/Dotan

KlubC: The War On Drugs/??

Sunday

Main: Muse/Kasabian/The Script

Barn: Ben Harper/Alabama Shakes

KlubC: ??/Christine and the Queens

Yeah, the Friday is looking a bit worrying. Would be cool if we got a big act to close the Friday, would mean I could go for a wander during the shit and come back for Coldplay or someone!

A few more big names would help, but at least its looking better than Leeds where I'd be goin otherwise! Haha

Do you get unlimited travel back and forth to Brussels with your festival ticket ?. If that Friday doesn't improve I'm heading in for a wander around the city. We could get efests piss up in the city centre

No, you get unlimited travel back and forth from the festival/camping area to Leuven. From there, a fast train to Brussels you have to buy seperately. Return ticket cost less than 7 Euros if I remember correctly and the ride is like 20 minutes. Edited by e2p2

Not too fussed on faithless myself, seen them a few times before but happy on the dance front with two of the closers being the chemical brothers and the prodigy, after more rock myself. And not sure they'd have the last set of the weekend be a dance act as the last time it didn't go to we'll with the black Eyed Peas.

Hi!

This year is going to be my first time in RW. I am a bit disappointed with Friday and not-totally-satisfied with Saturday, but Thursday and Sunday are going to be G-R-E-A-T. Do you think some of the following bands can still join RW?

Kaiser Chiefs, The Strokes, The Kooks, Coldplay, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Two Door Cinema Club, Band of Horses, Keane, Queens of the Stone Age.

Is any of them a real option for RW? Thanks in advance!

    • I had a great time yesterday and came to the conclusion that everytime (or, more accurately, both times) I didn't have a great time at Primavera, it was water-related. Either there was too much of it (Thursday 2026) or there wasn't enough (Thursday 2022, week 1).
