Is the travel which is included in the ticket price for the whole festival or just one journey there and one back.thanks

1 ride to Leuven and 1 from Leuven (to/from anywhere in Belgium) are included with the tickets. Free shuttle buses running all day between Leuven and werchter. Edited by e2p2

Just a few names with potential to make Friday an actual worthwhile trip to the arena. At the moment, I'd only turn up for Of Monsters & Men and Ben Howard and they are tame :(

Do we have any idea when the next/last headliner is likely to be announced?

As soon as they are able to/allowed to is my guess, since the lack of a real Friday headliner surely must be harming ticket sales. If it's Blur the delay makes sense, probably have to sell out BST first. If it's not Blur, then they must be struggling to find one I guess.

One positive aspect: if they went for the easy solution, they would've announced Editors a while ago. The long wait makes me believe that they're at least trying to avoid another Editors repeat.

Are you convinced that there will be another name beside Pharrell? I could imagine that RW doesn't care about the friday if saturday/sunday/combi-tickets are sold out.

Well Pharrell definitely isn't headlineworthy. On the current poster (you can see it on Facebook and the website) he's in a smaller font than Muse/FF/Lenny Kravitz, and at most other festivals (Pinkpop, IOW, ...) he's merely subbing.

I don't think it would be a disaster if doesn't sell out completely, for instance missing out on 500 tickets or something. But with the current names that Friday is a disaster (Ben Howard is a weak sub, and the rest of the day isn't wow either). Add to that a total of 12.500 day tickets which sell at 95 euros each, on a weekday in the middle of the exam period. You might just get a scenario like '5.000 out of 12.500 tickets sold' if they don't start upgrading that day heavily, and that would be a small disaster.

Apparently Coldplay is not headlining Glasto after all. So definitely one out of M&S - Editors - Blur then.

If Coldplay aren't doing Glasto , I wonder to what act Roskilde is waiting for.

Anyway in a perfect world we would get something big before Lenny and Muse but...we're not in one so lets hope something will show up at least for Friday.

Anyone think someone 'big' could be added today?

...or maybe another small bunch of names?

Can't understand why they would beef other days up and leave Friday as road kill for this long.

They will add at least one headliner (for Friday) and maybe a coheadliner for Saturday. If we analyze the main kind of music each day, we can expect highly probably Mumford and Sons on friday, and maybe Blur on saturday (could also be Editors even if Pukkelpop is more appropriate, or Jack White, or the Libertines, or two bands among these ones). We have to wait til Friday ! (An announcement on Wednesday is possible too)

Actually meant 'this week' not 'today'.. my bad!

Hope we don't get M&S & Libs.. it wouldn't be a disaster but every festival under the sun seem to have one or both of them. Would love RW to throw a curve ball for Friday night!

the only hope for that is sharing a name with glasto..in that case it could be anyone, but we would have to wait until glasto announcement in spring..

Also hoping for a big announcement soon. Was at Rock Werchter 2013 and the lineup was amazing: Rammstein, Volbeat, Depeche Mode, Biffy Clyro, 30 Seconds to Mars, Greenday..... This year is not looking so good so far...

2012,2013 and 2014 were golden editions, between 30 and 40 are not announced yet, so we can still expect a great lineup.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
