If it's mumford and sons headlining the Friday I'd be gutted and it would top the bad Friday for me. M&S are my most hated band, just can't stand them. Blur or someone who hasn't announced anything would be better for me, if not I'll go Brussels for the day or just pub it!

Any recommendations on the announced bands? Only know enter shikari and pleased with them.

Pleased with Enter Shikari too. Rest of announcment doesn't interest me. Definitely need more rock!

Friday looking more and more like a pub day for me too.

Any news on RW ticket sales??

I think that after Monday headliner announcement plus Dutch rock fans that weren't successful in buying Pinkpop weekend tickets, it wont take much time to sell out, but I hope Im wrong.

On a different issue, Ive just noticed that M&S are playing with the Prodigy at NOS Alive which means that there is actually other headliner than M&S that is preparing to announce tour.

Guys. Girls. I think we are gonna have Mumford and Sons on Friday, and Blur on Saturday.

Saturday is going to be the least likely day for Blur as if they play Glastonbury, it's likely to be the Saturday.

It seems strange to me that Mumford and Sons would be announced for other European fests (R&L, BBK etc) yet be held back for Werchter?

Have you thought about Paul McCartney? Seems he's got live shows that are to be announced. Although they may only be in America.

We can only give expectations, but many bands can headline the festival even if we didn't think to them (Prince, Mark Knopfler, Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers..) Paul McCartney is indeed possible too ! M&S are a strong rumour because of the announcements of Monday, but several big bands have not announced yet their summer tour, that's why Blur is possible, but as probable as McCartney or Editors or Prince or ...

McCartney is currently rumour nr1 for Boutique. According to Zegut (a radio dj who is just as credible as a source as Neil is) he is coming to Europe right after his Firefly gig.

Blur/Editors/M&S sound like the most logical options to release festival news on Monday. I do think we'll only get one big name, no more headlining acts for Saturday.

I'd be pee'd off it was M&S. Not that I don't want to see them at RW, but Friday's announcement made it sound like this was someone completely new, surely M&S have already announced their festival news...?

Out of Mumford & Sons, Editors and Blur....I'd choose Blur all day long. But maybe it's someone we haven't mentioned yet...

Which June/July festival still needs headliner act? I know Roskilde missing some & NOS Alive miss one. If its the same one that NOS Alive is missing it cant be Editors (who cant headline there) or M&S (already announced) which means Blur or someone we haven't mentioned yet. Edited by e2p2

Isle of Wight is missing one, so is Orange Warsaw Festival. They have the same dates.

Tinderbox needs headliner for saturday (27/6).

Open'er is missing 2 headliners; Prodigy & Bjork are rumoured for that one.

Not sure who's headlining Hurricane / Southside (is it really Placebo & Flo?)

Yip, Hu/So booking sadly is incredibly weak this year.

What do you think about chances to see these bands on RW'15

- Panic! at the Disco

- The Temper Trap

- The Vaccines

- The Maccabees

- Biffy Clyro

- Manic Street Preachers

- Morning Parade

- fun.

The only band that I'd want to see play RW15 from that list is Biffy, and they played last two years so no way they'll play now....

    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
    • Second go.....    Still f**king fantastic - Well done WIlliam Orbit -  Bugman & Trimm Trabb mega tracks - No Distance Left To Run hauntingly Beautiful
    • Just realised it was 13 he produced not this one DOH!!!!
