Along with abba they were widely thought of as one of the naffest bands around throughout the 80s, 90s and most of 00s.

Then they appeared on glee and they became flavour of the month, and the hype escalated from there.

Hope is Macca cos:

a. I've never seen him

b. I've seen Blur so many times. Twice in Hyde Park ('09-'12), and then twice in festival tour '13 (Primavera and Sziget). And I'm so sure returning gigs of '09 would never be topped, just mindblowings!

Why would Blur want to dirty their awesome memories of Glasto '09?

No, TITP have announced theirs. Bestival still have two to announce but I doubt it's to do with that.

2004 he was amazing!!! I'd definitely be up for him playing again!! It was a Beatles-heavy set, with some of his other hits thrown in there (Live and Let Die was spectacular), what could be better? Will always be one of my top Glasto sets!

Yeah I'm in the same Beatles boat. Never really cared that much. Got some decent songs, mainly on Sgt. Peppers, and I appreciate their influence on pop music, but to me they're bang average.

You mentioned FM sold their records 40 years ago as an argument. Im saying that doesn't matter. So did Bowie.

I have never got the love in for FM. Im 31, they seem to be a band its good to like for my generation. With the exception of the odd decent pop tune, they are not my thing.

No, last time he played the group I was with talked me into going to see him... To me he is one of them people I could slap happy.. I left after 2 songs, headed to holts and had one of the best nights ever with toots and the maytals.
