Just got a reply from Glasto about my inquiry in when the lineup is due to be released. Nothing much that we didn't already know anyway haha.

Won't be surprised if they have no idea. Seems like Glastonbury is a massive network but everything dictated by a small team of people. Doubt very much information is handed down to people answering the emails.

A friend of mine spoke to a famous person who's well connected to the festival yesterday. They advised they believe the Sunday headliner hasn't been booked yet and the believed the wish is to have British headliner and that they believe it'll be Florence.

On a side note, someone else I know who's well connected to "he that shall not be mentioned", believe it's 100% not him.

Make of that what you will....

Don't know why they keep trying for Prince.

Sure, Michael might have longed for him for years .. But he's being made a mug by the little purple fella. We don't know if the rumours of him pulling out are true, but they must have tried for him every year!

If he finds it so difficult to sign on the dotted line .. Screw him, his beret and his corvette!!

Not wanting to pick holes or anything, but do we actually know it's important to them? Have the festival organisers ever said so, or are we just assuming they want a British act, based on previous years?

My source could be completely wrong, but i'd be surprised if they're completely ruling it out this close to the festival.
