Neil posts something and it all kicks off, it could quite easily mean he has proof it's not stone roses or radiohead... Not that an announcement is imminent / knows the final headliner

yep, tho the difficulty I always have with "knowing" anything about any band is that I can never be certain that what I hear froim even the best sources is true - because they always have a good reason to lie if they want to cover something up. So I have to take a view on things, and that always opens up the possibility of being wrong.

Maybe if my phone battery runs out, the lineup will be released. Seems to have worked previously. Am currently on 37%, so with moderate use, we can expect the lineup early evening.

Wasn't your phone involved in the whole Coldplay sordid affair? If so. Charge it up..don't want anymore more of that silly business!!

What year was that?

Always interesting to see some of the nonsense that appeared way up the bill in years past.

Then to see Doves, Muse and Coldplay at the very bottom of the New Tent lineup.

Also strange to see Kula Shaker headline the New Tent when they headlined the Other Stage in 1997.

I'd love to see Banco De Gaia again as well

EDIT: My bad, I see it's 1999

Ha Electrasy! Was just talking about them last week. And Gay Day!! Bloody hell.

The Corrs, Texas and Bjorn Again on the main stage hitting one in the eye to those who said the festival's only recently gone pop!!

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
