Yeah it doesn't seem there's any obvious candidates for Sonisphere as most headliners at European festivals are or will probably be bands in the top two at Download or ones that aren't big enough here, or both obviously. Plus Metallica have been confirmed as playing nowhere else than Der Ring/Rockavaria/Rock in Vienna. There could be headliners being held back like SOAD we've heard news on and I guess Blink, Chilis and GNR are supposed to have albums out but I don't think it'll happen, personally. The new owners have a good opportunity to bring something new to the table with the venue and the booking power though so maybe if Sonisphere doesn't return something else will.

so no leaks huh?

Yep.

Friday

SLIPKNOT

Judas Priest

Five Finger Death Punch

Saturday

MUSE

Faith No More

A Day To Remember

Sunday

KISS

MÖTLEY CRÜE

Slash

Don't kill me if it's wrong :)

Shikari are the Sunday headliners. Don't know the other 2 days.

I would rather not say how I've heard this, all I will say is I'd hang whatever little reputation I have on these boards on this being correct.

Also Gene Simmons leaked the Sunday lineup on his Twitter.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
