  1. Rival Sons announced for GMM, would be nice to see them again. Just need to brush up on me pi$$ed up dad dancing.
  2. 2018 was Frontgate. Your ticket reference number will be an 8 digit number.
  3. The free membership says, " Tier Two Pre-Sale Access " The $40 membership says, " pre-sale access when available" Wondering what the specific differences are(?)
  4. I'd all but given up on next summer's lamefest options. Was just going to gigdive here and there instead. This has completely fcuked my plans up. (In a good way).
  5. Perfect. Great answer thanks.
  6. Graspop looks like the favoured option now. Definitely need a break from the Download routine. Can I ask a dumb question (or two) please? The Vouchers/Tokens thing, I assume they're for beers/food/merch/whatever(?) Is there a no cash policy there?, or do do they accept both?, can we buy more there periodically?
  7. That announcement has made my mind up. Dull, dull dull
  8. Assuming it'll be fairly similar to the Graspop list, excepting one or two.
  9. Missed out too. Despite completely being on the ball. Maybe there was an expectation that Hellfest would offer something different to the rest of the euro festival touring dross.
  10. Didn't get Glastonbury tickets, Download has managed to finally turn me off altogether. Hellfest it is then. Anyone ever been?
  11. Download Paris is on a different weekend this time round. (end of May) I'm assuming they'll have a different stock of headliners? Any opinions?
  12. I thought Ozzy in '18 was Download's white flag for ever being a trailblazer festival. But SOAD? As I said a couple of pages ago, as much as I love them, would be like completely throwing in the towel for Copping and co. Add Kiss to it, and I'll have find even worse metaphors.
  13. There's only ever been one guy on here who's source and input could be taken as gospel. Unfortunately he got sworn to secrecy a couple of years ago because, you know, Live Nation like to keep it a surprise.
  14. Sam Allardyce has been linked with the position according to his agent ?
  15. Is there no BOA forum on here? Or have I missed something obvious?
  16. Love, love, love SOAD. But the 2017 performance was just dull. They really are just doing the 'traveling t-shirt salesmen routine'. You could effortlessly get to the front barrier through their whole performance (I crowd surfed out maybe 5 or 6 times and got back to the front and center(ish) without any difficulty. ). Which was an indicator of the audiences un-enthusiasm.
  17. They announced this years back in October 2018. The 2018 announcements started November 2017. But it changes, depending on a number of reasons.
  18. Pasting a table in looks fugly, but here's my first go... FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY ADTR METALLICA ACDC KORN JUDAS PRIEST ROYAL BLOOD ARCHITECTS 5FDP GRETA VAN FLEET STEEL PANTHER LIMP BIZKIT ALICE IN CHAINS BILLY IDOL YOU ME AT SIX COHEED & CAMBRIA OFFSPRING ANDREW WK CINDERELLA THE WILDHEARTS FLOGGING MOLLY SIKTH HIM SATIRICON TESTAMENT
  19. Download's biggest problem is other festivals. You know, events that want you there and want you to enjoy yourself, not just take your money and fu¢k you off. I've been eight years on the hop, but seeing other festivals over the last couple of years have really shone a light on it for me. We can debate if it's Metallica, or Rammstein, or ADTR til the cows come home, the cold truth (for me at least) is that the organisers and planners really need to take a better look at the customer experience.
  20. Depends how close you want to get to the stage(s). You can walk from Zippo to Main in like 5 - minutes. But you'll be on the periphery. Battling to the front will take a lot longer. Avalanche to Fourth is the longest hike, and involves the hill which won't be much fun when sodden.
  21. Morning, Black Peaks still on the list/app/etc. Fingers crossed they're going to make it. I'm enjoying their shanties.
  22. Nope. Day tickets are for the arena only mate.
  23. Two years running? Wow man, you need a serious word with your friend.
  24. They usually finish about 11pm. Keep an eye out for when the stage times and the unofficial Clashfinders are released. There's a transport hub near the south car parks with pick up/drop off. The site layout is changing a bit this year, I don't think it will affect the transport hub. But look at the map when it's released.
