The Jp tent is great. Ball ache to get there and back, especially on a wet year, and every way in or out has a bottleneck and I feel a tad sorry for the idiots who camp right next to the paths, but the atmosphere can be great. Crystal Fighters last year was possibly the greatest performance and atmosphere I've ever seen. (atmosphere and crowd increased due to it raining)

We took our kids to Bingley festival a few years ago when Buzzcocks were headlining, they loved them.

Some bloke called Flappy DJ but don't know if he's actually an artist or just some bloke.

"@flapsandwich: Glastonbury Confirmed. Get the fuck in!

What stage will the Buzzcocks play? I'm struggling to see where they fit in, great band though, have to dig out all their early 45s I have....

Payed a great version of 'Promises' in the session the other night - definitely stands the test of time. The newer stuff was pretty good as well

    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
