That Catfish tour sold out mad fast, still not sure why they aren't subbing the NME, their live sales are far better than most past NME subs

They're not subbing the NME though, anyway at the time it was the right position from the

EDIT: Sorry OTTR, can't read apparently. Still lovez you xxx

I'm actually starting to think I can't read as 90% of the questions I'm getting wrong while revising Physics is due to misreading the question

My friend used to fail all his physics exams because he couldn't type into a calculator correctly. Like he could do the questions, but would type something wrong every single question, every single time and fail.

Because Rebel Sound are billed as headliners when they should really be a closing act.

To be honest, I still don't know the difference.

As far as I read it Limp bizkit will play followed by Knife Party, Rebel Sound will play after Twin Atlantic.

Other than Limp Bizkit maybe getting more time than Twin Atlantic, I can't see the difference.

Isn't the difference that 'Closing Acts' slightly overlap the last act on any other stage but become the only act playing at the end of the night?

I.e. Main Stage and tents close at 23:00 and NME closing act finished at 23:30.

(I know those times are wrong, it was just an example)

Yeah it's basically that, Limp Bizkit are the headliners and will play longer than Twin Atlantic will. Its basically them just wanting everyone to go have a dance act to go watch at the end of the night, and its not as if they have a specific tent for that or anything so whack it in the NME

Nope, they all finish at the same time.

In that case I have absolutely no idea what defines a closing act haha.

If other acts start/finish at the same time, they are simply headliners.

What's the point in defining them as something different when they're not? :S

    • I want to chime in here and say that I think Simple Minds must be one of the more underrated bands of the 80s honestly. Empires & Dance and New Gold Dream are phenomenal albums. And two of my favourites of that decade in any genre.
    • Same, same. I am doing this for few years. Always works. There are some exceptions when the area completelly packed (i.e The XX this year), but even in this case it is much easier to walk from the right side.
    • You don't have to pay for an additional ticket but the front barrier at least is all controlled by security and a lot of people stay in there for the bigger acts so if you don't get there early enough you risk not being in there.   There is an option you can pay to have fast lane access priority which they suggest you arrive 30 minutes before a headline show but the first two sections are still even for them based on capacity. I did read that it's going very corporate and becoming too money money which I agree to an extent. There are points on the two biggest stages where not only accessing these bits is priority but dedicated quicker and direct access points for them too....but at €225 for the weekend I'm not sure I want to be pulled into that. I went with Three Days Grace, Linkin Park and Maiden being my must sees so I did what I had to for the latter 2 to get in to where I needed to. You do that too much though and it'll cost you your overall enjoyment of other bands there.   As an overall experience, it's definitely overrated to what I thought it would be. I will vouch for the food being decent.    The reason I haven't just gone in a bought too is because of the extra shipping fee and then selling it on if I didnt go. By QR code its easy to transfer like, but its a lot of money to commit that it might need selling later and to sell a ticket, £300 in fact. Hopefully they won't be the only festival to get Foos while not confirmed yet and Blink. But the Blink pulling power alone is there to be seen.
