Setting aside an irritation with novelty heritage acts, for which I greatly sympathize, why call him racist and sexist? I know he stuck up for the odious Anton Beck and his Paki comments, but aside from that, I see no evidence for it. His wife is Puerto Rican after all. Depends on you definition of culture. Many, many people would say he's contributed a lot to British culture over the years. That said, he's of no interest to me. Can't see him playing late on the bill though, more likely an afternoon slot similar to The Wombles or The Wurzles.
