Goths are great. I've only ever at best been a semi-demi goth.. and for a long time this has mostly meant just wearing black whenever possible. I have been to the Slimelight though.

Hey IBCanon we fly in from Spain as well since.. many years now- usually to London. We always need to visit my mother in law as well so we generally hire a care from nearby to her (Basingstoke). We've gone for pre-erected for most of these years- so.. driving into Sticklinch or Worthy View is easy... but it's general parking if you're in a Tipi. Anyway we've been considering getting a National Express probably from Bristol (stay over the night before) basically to take out the bummer of driving on Monday morning.. I know it can take an age waiting for your coach 'home' (back to Bristol to stay over again I reckon) but perhaps no worse than getting out of general parking.. which took us hours this year. I guess similar would apply to London.

About the actual subject - truly we started going pre-erected after my wife decided to start coming again having had a few years off - preferring to stay home with our daughter. Without this they would not have come these past few years. I'll admit my challenged manlihood has me in denial that it's 'their fault' that I have to 'Glamp'. We've done Tipis 3 times, Worthy View twice and Sticklinch once I think. Honestly the family don't cramp my style.. I prefer them to be with me - however we stay. I fully agree we can't turn the clock back. I remember the edgy days of the later eighties and it's pointless pining for them. Everything changes. It's still bloody brilliant.

I was pretty annoyed at first- mainly with the ridiculous short notice. It seems very likely they are covering up for a DB cock up. I have to admit it's wiser to allow people to sort their registrations out than exclude them. I just think it would have been less disruptive to many people to let the sale go ahead but with a fair sized amount held in reserve for a soon to be resale. Allowing anyone to register now irritates me.. if it could be only those who previously were registered that would be an improvement.

F me! I went out for a drink leaving my lovely lady Jo in charge- thinking it not a problem. She had numerous problems and lot of stress! Very luckily when I got back we still had a booking page. It worked! Just half an hour ago! Oh my days!
