To an extent!!

Continue to track it all over the next few days folks. If JACKONE (and AWD on the same netweather Glasto thread) remain positive as we head into next week, I'll be more reassured, but I'm still very nervous for the time being ...

Will check that Gav vid when I get time. By which time it may have been updated, or downdated ...

So do we know the current ground conditions? You would hope they made use of the long run of good weather and got a lot done, so that they could do less movements now and limit ground damage during the rain. But maybe that's just my thinking,

The field where i take my dogs each day is about 25 miles north of Glastonbury.

After a fair amount of rain yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised that the ground was bone dry this morning.

I'm optimistic that, if we get a few hours of dry daylight most days, plus the inevitable torrential downpour or two (it is Britain in June after all), then we can avoid a repeat of the lead-up to 2011 (or worse), and have a m*d-free weekend with plenty of :sungum:
