where on earth doth come all this anger and violence?

us cultists are lovers, not fighters. ok jeffie's a bit of a loose cannon, but Lucy was ofering 'oral support' earlier. with us, the Sacred Space shall remain just that.

peace and love to all science weirdos.

I can't wait for Countryfile forecast. We are visiting friends down south first so will need to know by next Friday. Trying to decide if the leaky pop up tent will be up to the job or if we need the heavier more reliable one is needed. Still too early to call but I am feeling optimistic - i dont expect another 2010 but it isn't looking like a 2011 either.

In 2010 we visited friends in Southampton, the weather started to pick up on the Sunday, but wasn't that brilliant before. This year we are visiting them again. Lets hope for a repeat. Although I would be happy with a 2009.

Well it's been a nice day so far here. Was going to take the dog up the hill to have a decent look over the site, but then remembered I had to post a letter so went the other way. I know you'll all be interested to hear that.

Quite a bit of cloud about as well and I gather there may be a shower or two later.

Lol I am aware that Nme.com seem to employ a load of idiots

They are also at least a few hours behind with all news things.... For eg the QOTSA your we knew about that on here before they posted it on there!

Lets hope their source is wrong

    • Came here to post that.   Not based on any info, can just see it happening.
    • I'm not sure about the entrance but it wouldn't be a surprise to find the festival have secured use of the land from Steanbow who own it for either new CV space, or for authorised off-site camping as they did with Worthy View.  An authorised off-site pitch-your-own with decent facilities priced just below WV would fly off the shelves as an option.
    • Burnham needs to hold onto his seat , plus needs labour to hold onto all those other seats that could go Reform, so I think some blue labour stuff might stay...and it will be back to the tactic of hoping enough left/liberal voters will get behind labour and not go Green in order to stop a Reform govt...obviously wasn't working with Starmer, but might with Burnham if he shows enough leg. Have to see, Burnham is going from a cushty job where he's very popular and seen as successful to probably the most difficult job going, prime minister of this country...and his popularity might not last long when people realise he can't fix all the problems over night. What he can do is give a sense of direction and optimism which is badly needed, but he will also be faced with a whole bunch of nasty trade offs and could be where Starmer is now in a matter of months.
    • Yep, The Cure and The xx are the two most painful misses for me this year. The Cure literally plays at every corner, except the one I attend to.
