He didn't say that. He said you heard 30 seconds-ish into the second song didn't you? At most two songs wasn't it you said? Now you may have found that dull and I'm sure many may have as is represented via the comments on here. Equally many on here are saying they enjoyed it. Both are true. Some liked it, some didn't.

Just because some find something great doesn't mean it is for everyone. Just like you finding it dull doesn't mean it is. For me it was very good but I've seen better since. Indeed his IOW set was as good as anything I've seen. For you the 5 minutes you saw you didn't like so you moved on... that's the beauty of a festival and music. Especially Glastonbury.

To me if you don't get Bruce I can see why you think he's very dull. Completely I can. If you do get him though he can be life affirming. I don't see why both sides, and it is both, have to argue so stubbornly that he was or wasn't dull... because he was both. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all.

Legendary artists aren't always universally popular. Hell, I even have friends who don't like The Beatles... the fools! biggrin.png

They play a rake of classics in a row live as part of a 25 minute encore. Lads, it is AMAZING.

"God Gave Rock 'N Roll To You II" honestly nearly moved me to tears. It'll never happen but there is scarcely a more suitable song for that Pyramid stage.

Was he really that bad at Glastonbury?

I saw him at Isle Of Wight, and he was just incredible, the setlist was near perfect, but then again Wrecking Ball is a great album, where tunes like Outlaw pete are fucking atrocious, as quite rightly pointed out here!

To me it's just the way it's fell.

Green Day - were eventually going to tour again, they have a london date

Bruce Springsteen - was never going to be done with this tour, he'll take a big break again after the summer. Midlands and Glasgow didn't have shows last time out.

Muse - New Album. Big Enough for stadium as seen before

Roger Waters - Surprising really, didn't think he'd sell Wembley out, still don't think he will.

The Killers - Well, that's just laughable really, not enough people are going to pay them prices are they?

Robbie Williams - Did anyone seriously think this wasn't going to happen? After whoring himself out to Take That last summer? w*nker. (i Would see him at a festival though, provided he wasnt a headliner)

All this culminates in is, far too many stadium shows, including the ones i've missed and as someone pointed out to me before, it leads to over saturation and they'll just go unsold, i guess thats what happens when Hyde Park goes to crap!

So, the key question is, what are the sound levels and curfews like at Wembley these days?

Coventry is my closest show, but it's a terrible city and a pain in the arse getting home if you don't want to drive. Wembley would be the obvious one to go for but I'm now automatically avoiding concerts in London where possible.
