Don't ask me to give up my source, cus i won't .... but i can guarantee you it doesn't get any more reliable ..

I have been told that if the increase in swine flu cases as seen in the last week had been witnessed 4-6 weeks ago then glasto would have been pulled. However it is way too late now and Glasto will definitely go ahead no matter what, but it got a hell of a lot closer to being pulled than people actually think.

Yes its cancelled. Stay at home, destroy your ticket. Do not turn up on Wednesday. And the TV coverage will be last years, just to keep everyone happy .... :D

I haven't bothered reading all of this thread but I always amazed how gullible people are. Most folk don't believe what they read in the papers but for some reason, if it's on telly then it must be true.

Actually, last I heard it's now ordinary flu that has "us" all a fluster.

Anyway - hail the new soundbite - PANDEMIC!

Thought this thread would be worth a revisit to try and help us all have some perspective.

I know there are significant differences between what we're facing now in comparison to 2009 but there are some wise words in this thread that may help to calm some anxiety.

Personally, I don't think Glastonbury 2009 will be cancelled. Just a hunch.
