metallimuse
Best popcorn film Cruise has ever done, film-wise and acting-wise. I really liked Valkyrie.
DomDom1984
Minority Report is better IMO
viberunner
Just got back from seeing Cinderella, really enjoyed it, much better than Disney's other recent attempts at doing live-action versions of the animated classics; Alice In Wonderland and Maleficent are both pretty shit. Maleficent was magnificent you fecking ingrate! Edited April 6, 2015 by viberunner
Amy Lawn
Was it? I'm not denying that it was entertaining, but it was not well made, and the performances were not good.
DomDom1984
Performances were excellent I thought. Especially the two leads. Fanning was majestic. The only performance I took issue with was the usually great Sharlto Copley.

viberunner
Saw it today. I'll admit... I might just have been wrong on this one.
t8yman
That teaser was good. Han and Chewie made me tingle.
Katster
Watched Nightcrawler yesterday afternoon, absolutely loved it. Best film I've seen this year so far. mrs t8y said "well that was shit" when the credits rolled. I am disappoint. Oh deeeeear!
jump
Meh, I'm still not interested.
LondonTom
Everything you would want from a Star Wars trailer, I am now getting carried away like a child and setting myself up for a huge disappointment come Christmas. That Han/Chewie scene, cheesy as hell but just perfect! And Kylo Ren just looks completely bad ass, glad they are taking queues from some of the EU on the sith! Winslow Leach
I really like this, a lot more than the first trailer. It's got that real old school sense of awe that A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back pull off, but that none of the films since have managed. Return of the Jedi is just very flatly directed and the prequels are essentially one massive pixel.
lost
Also got a look at Affleck's batman this week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwfUnkBfdZ4
metallimuse
What's with Affleck's voice?
FloorFiller
Star Wars looks very promising. considering how poorly received the prequels were i just think there's no way they can fuck this one (or the rest) up. it's just gotta be fantastic hasn't it? as for Batman vs Superman, the trailer looks pretty good, but i can't help but feel like the film is gonna be a disaster much like Man of Steel was. feels like they're rushing a lot of character introductions (Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Cyborg etc) so that they can hurry on to the Justice League film in order to compete with The Avengers, instead of taking their time like Marvel did. obviously i haven't seen it so they may handle this all well, but i can't fathom how they're gonna do it all in a 3 hour film
DomDom1984
JJ Abrams has a decent track record and will have the benefit of being cautious after the last movies so I think he'll do well.

Amy Lawn
Why does Lego Batman have a nosepeice when Lego people have no noses?
Winslow Leach
Why does Lego Batman have a nosepeice when Lego people have no noses? Because he's Batman. And he only works in black, or sometimes very dark grey.
FloorFiller
DARKNESS. NO PARENTS. i'm so psyched that they're making a Lego Batman Movie
LondonTom
Batman Vs. Superman, meh, just doesn't look much fun...abit to dark and that for me. But I'll remain open minded and in all likely hood will go see it.
LondonTom
Ah forgot to mention the Rogue One Plot is out, will come under the label "Star Wars Anthology" to, to make it clear its not part of the main Episodes. https://youtu.be/NELx1y8cr1M "A rogue band of resistance fighters unite for a mission to steal the Death Star plans and bring a new hope to the galaxy." Edwards confirmed that it takes place after Episode III, before Episode IV, and "closer to Episode IV." http://comicbook.com/2015/04/19/star-wars-rogue-one-official-description-timeline-revealed/ Great idea for the first non Skywalker film! Spindles
Rogue one is a great premise. I also love that the trailers for episode 7 are making it clear that the main jedi is going to be a young woman, about time.
DomDom1984
There's a lot of good to be said about Avengers: Age of Ultron, but I couldn't help thinking that I'm glad Joss Whedon is leaving the series to the Russo brothers. It's a good couple of hours though, even if it's the weakest Marvel movie since the first Captain America movie.
zaria
I have not yet watch the movie but, the trailers seems good. So, hopefully I will not regret watching it.
