I'm thinking of bringing my family to this next year, does anyone have any advice on where to stay, if there's tour operators doing packages or anything like that?

Anywhere near a yellow line metro stop is preferable. If you can find somewhere 30-45 mins walk from the site that is a 'doable' amount as it doesn't feel too far when you're walking with lots of people milling around.

I'd firmly disagree with the other poster- avoid Airbnb in Barcelona at all costs, far too unreliable and far too many horror stories about cancellations. You'll be looking at £200-300p/n for a hotel room depending on size and location.

It's not a package type festival, so you'll need to book yourself. Use Trivago and Skyscanner.

This year I stayed in a Airbnb near the festival and it was nice. No problems at all

I've heard too many horror stories from friends and people I've chatted to at the festival - late cancellations leaving people without accommodation, Airbnbs getting pulled etc - for it to not be something I'd be interested in nowadays, or ever recommend to others. YMMV of course, but particularly if you're taking a family I'd say it's just risky nowadays.

Just realized we got all three of them so there is the chance they'll perform it together.

I can picture a kind of warehouse (the parking garage stage ) party/showcase with Fakemink, Ecco2k, Mechatok live, Ninajirachi, Oli XL live…  and maybe Malibu or even Iglooghost too, since Mechatok is throwing some parties this year called Natural Mind with friends and affiliates

Any chance the Wednesday is a significant name , or is it more likely to be one of the lower names ?

Beach House were a recent one.

Maybe Father John Misty or Mac de Marco might be of comparable size? I don't really know these days!

Airbnb restrictions got stricter in Barcelona over the summer, so a lot of them got removed. Also, some hosts didn't update the pricing on time and didn't milk everything they could during the Primavera week 😄

2026 should be back to normal. You'll see now that a lot of Airbnbs display their registration numbers on the listings now

They can.

But what a weirdly specific thing it would be to make it up.

For what purpose?

No idea about intent, but it doesn't strike me as financially sound reasoning unless the 2026 edition actually manages to sell out. I would bet that last year's sold out edition brought in more total revenues than the 2023 and 2024 editions which may have had more alcohol sales but certainly had less ticket sales. Also worth considering that a sold out festival is better for attracting sponsorship.

Need to compare like with like. Lot of variables.

The headliners last year may have also cost much more.
